-
Weekly on Wednesdays for 5 weeks starting in February 2025 from 9.30am.
Exact dates TBC
Didcot, Discovery College, Makespace, 99 Station Road, OX11 7NN
-
This programme is for parents, carers and professionals who live with and/or support a child or young person who is self harming or at risk of self harm behaviours.
-
Together with facilitators who have both lived experience and learned expertise you explore what sits behind self harming behaviours, how to support the children and young people in our lives when they self harm, how to manage risks and what other, healthier strategies we could support them to use.
This programme may be useful to parent, carers, adult family members, teachers, youth workers, and clinicians.
The programme will take place over the course of 5 weeks and there will be opportunities to connect with others on the programme also supporting young people experiencing similar struggles.
The programme is free of charge.
